Live video disclosure via hard-coded RTSP credentials
Published Aug 5, 2026 · Updated Aug 5, 2026
Hard-coded credentials in Zosi C519M 4.2.8.823C01450BA allow remote attackers to view its RTSP video stream over TCP/554. The IPC service reads a fixed admin credential from plaintext /app/config.xml and accepts it for the fixed /video1 stream; the technical write-up tested 4.2.8.832C01450BA, creating a build-number discrepancy with the CVE record. Network reachability to TCP/554 is sufficient, and the demonstrated consequence is read-only disclosure of live camera footage.
