CVE-2025-7095Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Update integrity bypass via certificate validation failure

Published Jul 6, 2025 · Updated Jul 7, 2025

Improper certificate validation in Comodo Internet Security Premium 12.3.4.8162 allows remote attackers to alter update integrity. The Update Handler accepts an update connection without properly validating the server certificate, enabling a man-in-the-middle to substitute content. Reachability requires control of the connected network and a successful high-complexity interception; public evidence demonstrates a proof of concept.
