Authenticated browser script execution via encoded folder parameter
Published Apr 13, 2026 · Updated Apr 13, 2026
Reflected XSS in Vtiger CRM 8.4.0 MailManager allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a crafted URL. MailManager reflects a specially crafted, double URL-encoded _folder parameter into the response without properly neutralizing it for HTML output. A targeted authenticated user must follow the crafted request; the script then runs in that user's browser session and can read or alter data accessible to that session.
