CVE-2025-7090Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unchecked stack copy

Published Jul 6, 2025 · Updated Jul 7, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in Belkin F9K1122 1.00.33 allows remote authenticated users to crash the device via a crafted HTTP POST. formConnectionSetting copies the max_Conn and timeOut values into a stack-local buffer without checking length, allowing overwrite of the function return address. Low-privilege access to the browser-based management interface is required; the published proof of concept demonstrates a persistent service crash, and return-address control supports arbitrary code execution.
