Stored XSS via unencoded username rendering
Published Jan 15, 2026 · Updated Jan 15, 2026
Stored XSS in PHPGurukul Cyber Cafe Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in viewers' browsers. The add-users.php endpoint stores the POST username without adequate sanitization, and view-allusers.php renders it without output encoding. Administrative access is required to plant the payload, and execution occurs when another user opens the user list, exposing that browser session to script-driven data access and actions.
