Authenticated code execution via unchecked pinCode copy
Published Jul 6, 2025 · Updated Jul 7, 2025
Stack-based buffer overflow in Belkin F9K1122 1.00.33 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via a crafted WPS PIN. The webs component's formWpsStart handler copies the pinCode request value into a stack-local buffer without validating its length. Access to the management interface is required; oversized input overwrites the return address and can crash the appliance or redirect execution.
