Sensitive-data disclosure via local H2 database connection
Published Feb 17, 2026 · Updated Feb 17, 2026
Information exposure in Running Elephant Datart 1.0.0-rc.3 allows remote authenticated users to read sensitive data via an H2 JDBC URL. The data-source connection workflow accepts an attacker-supplied file-mode H2 URL and opens Datart's local internal database as a queryable source. Dashboard authentication and permission to create a data source are required; resulting SQL access exposes password hashes and stored source configurations.
