SQL injection via unvalidated sort field
Published Mar 3, 2026 · Updated Mar 3, 2026
SQL injection in BaseServiceImpl.java in renren-security before 5.5.0 allows attackers to execute injected SQL through a sort field. At the scheduled-log pagination endpoint, the orderField parameter reaches dynamic ORDER BY processing, and a public request places an IF/EXISTS/SLEEP expression in that field. The published request includes a token header, but the sources do not establish the required account privilege; successful injection can read or modify data available to the application database user.
