Authenticated command execution via unsanitized WAN parameters
Published Jul 6, 2025 · Updated Jul 7, 2025
OS command injection in Belkin F9K1122 firmware 1.00.33 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary commands over HTTP. The webs component's formSetWanStatic handler passes five attacker-controlled WAN address, netmask, gateway, and DNS parameters directly into an operating-system command. Low-privilege access to the management endpoint is required, and successful injection runs commands with the device service's privileges.
