Hard-coded credentials in Tenda i24V3.0si firmware 3.0.0.5 allow local users to authenticate as root on the device. The read-only /etc_ro/shadow file embeds root password material, and authentication accepts the corresponding password instead of requiring a device-specific secret. Exploitation requires local access and yields root control over the device's data and operation.
