CVE-2025-7079Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authentication bypass via hard-coded JWT signing secret

Published Jul 6, 2025 · Updated Jul 7, 2025

Hard-coded credentials in mao888 Bluebell Plus 2.0 through 2.3.0 allow remote attackers to forge JWTs and bypass authentication. The JWT handler stores bluebell-plus in mySecret, uses it to sign HS256 access and refresh tokens, and returns the same value from keyFunc when validating attacker-supplied tokens. No account is required; the published secret permits tokens bearing chosen user identifiers and usernames, enabling unauthorized posting or commenting.
