Authenticated memory corruption via unchecked 3G credentials
Published Jul 6, 2025 · Updated Jul 7, 2025
Buffer overflow in LBT-T300-T310 firmware 2.2.3.0 through 2.2.3.6 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt device memory. The config_3g_para function in /appy.cgi copies oversized username_3g or password_3g form values without enforcing a length limit. Basic-authenticated access to the 3G WAN settings is required; the public artifact demonstrates memory corruption but not code execution or a repeatable crash.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
