CVE-2025-7076Public exploit

Configuration tampering via unauthenticated upload endpoint

Published Jul 6, 2025 · Updated Jul 7, 2025

Improper access control in Pittasoft BlackVue DR590X Series 20250624 allows remote attackers to alter dashcam settings over Wi-Fi. The /upload.cgi endpoint accepts a replacement configuration without authenticating the requester or authorizing the settings change. Access requires a connection to the dashcam's local Wi-Fi network; disabling hardwiring battery protection can drain the vehicle battery.
