Stored JavaScript execution via unneutralized browserLang input
Published Feb 4, 2026 · Updated Feb 4, 2026
Stored XSS in the PPC (Belden) ONT 2K05X web interface on firmware 1.1.9_206L allows remote attackers to execute JavaScript. The CGI backend stores an unneutralized browserLang parameter and later renders it into the management page, where the browser executes it. No authentication is required to plant the payload, but a user must subsequently open the affected interface; the script then runs in that user's browser context.
