Stored XSS via unsanitized file descriptions
Published Aug 5, 2025 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in the WP Cloud Plugins Google Drive plugin 3.3.1 and earlier allows remote attackers to run scripts through file metadata. File descriptions are stored without adequate sanitization and rendered on module pages without safe output escaping. File-upload privileges are required, but a public upload shortcode permits unauthenticated injection; rendering the file then executes the script.
