Browser script execution via unencoded Live Item fields
Published Jan 28, 2026 · Updated Jan 28, 2026
Stored XSS in PodcastGenerator 3.2.9 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in visitors' browsers through Live Items. The creation handler stores the TITLE, SHORT DESCRIPTION, and LONG DESCRIPTION fields, while live_list.php and live.php render them without output encoding. Administrator access is required to plant a payload; execution occurs when an administrator opens the Live Items list or a visitor opens the public Live Stream page.
