CVE-2025-70327Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated service interruption via ping option injection

Published Feb 23, 2026 · Updated Feb 23, 2026

Argument injection in TOTOLINK X5000R 9.1.0cu_2415_B20250515 allows remote authenticated users to interrupt router service. The setDiagnosisCfg handler inserts the ip parameter into a shell-built ping command after is_cmd_string_valid accepts hyphen-prefixed input, causing ping to treat attacker-supplied tokens as options. Access to the authenticated web-management endpoint is required; abusive options consume resources, prolong execution, generate excessive traffic, and hang or reboot the router.
