Code execution via ext4 descriptor-table under-allocation

Integer overflow in DENX U-Boot before 2026.04 allows attackers to execute code or interrupt boot via a crafted ext4 filesystem. ext4fs_get_bgdtable multiplies the untrusted block-group count by descriptor size without overflow checking, allocates the wrapped size, then reads the full descriptor table into the undersized heap buffer. Exploitation requires control of an ext4 filesystem parsed by U-Boot; successful corruption grants code execution in the bootloader context or interrupts the boot process.
