Unauthenticated denial of service via unbounded sprintf
Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026
Stack buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-513 1.10 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via a crafted webPage form value. The formWlanSetup handler passes webPage through its redirect path to sprintf, which formats the attacker-controlled value without a length bound. No authentication or user interaction is required; the report does not establish whether the interruption is a hang, crash, or reboot, or whether code execution is possible.
