Unauthenticated service interruption via unbounded sprintf
Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026
Stack buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-513 firmware 1.10 allows remote attackers to interrupt router service via a crafted webPage value. The goform/formSetWanPPTP handler passes the attacker-controlled value through p_last_url to sprintf without enforcing the destination length, overflowing a stack buffer. The endpoint is network-reachable without authentication or user interaction, and published assessments establish availability loss rather than code execution.
