Unauthenticated service interruption via unbounded curTime copy
Published Mar 3, 2026 · Updated Mar 3, 2026
Stack buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-513 firmware 1.10 allows remote attackers to interrupt service via a crafted curTime value. The goform/formSetPortTr handler passes the request-controlled curTime string through sprintf into a fixed stack buffer without enforcing a destination bound. The web interface is reachable over the network without authentication or user interaction, and the current CISA assessment limits the demonstrated consequence to availability loss.
