Unauthenticated memory corruption via unsafe sprintf
Published Mar 4, 2026 · Updated Mar 4, 2026
Stack buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-513 1.10 allows remote attackers to corrupt memory through a crafted login request. The goform/formLogin handler passes the unbounded curTime form value through sprintf into a fixed-size stack buffer, allowing an oversized value to overwrite adjacent stack memory. No authentication or user interaction is required; successful exploitation can execute code or interrupt the router service.
