Unauthenticated database read and write via SQL concatenation
Published Feb 18, 2026 · Updated Feb 18, 2026
SQL injection in code-projects Community Project Scholars Tracking System 1.0 allows remote attackers to read and alter database data. The /admin/save_user.php and /admin/update_user.php handlers concatenate firstname, lastname, username, password, and user_id POST values into SQL statements without validation or parameterization. No session check runs before query execution, so an unauthenticated network request can disclose credentials, create administrator records, alter or delete data, or interrupt database-backed operations.
