CVE-2025-70129Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated spam posting via exposed CAPTCHA fields

Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026

CAPTCHA bypass in PluXml 5.8.22 and earlier allows remote attackers to publish automated spam comments through article forms. The article body exposes the capcha-letter, capcha-word, and capcha-token values, letting scripts construct a valid comment request. The anti-spam CAPTCHA and article comments must be enabled; without another web defense, unauthenticated automation can flood articles with comments.
