Administrator password modification without current-password verification

Unverified password change in Lantronix EDS3000PS 3.1.0.0R2 allows remote authenticated users to modify the administrator password. The ltrx_evo component processes an administrator password replacement without verifying knowledge of the current password. Administrative access is required when exploited alone; chaining the flaw with the separately documented authentication bypass gives remote attackers control of the administrator credential.
