Privilege escalation in PHPGurukul Hospital Management System 4.0 allows remote authenticated users to access administrator functions. Requests to the /admin/ directory and its submodules are served without verifying that the authenticated session holds an administrator role. A self-registered patient account is sufficient to view confidential logs and modify application data through administrative functions.
