Patient record disclosure via unchecked viewid ownership
Published Feb 18, 2026 · Updated Feb 18, 2026
IDOR in the Medical History module of PHPGurukul Hospital Management System 4.0 allows remote authenticated users to read other patients' records. The module accepts an integer viewid value and retrieves the referenced record without verifying that it belongs to the logged-in patient. Patient-level access and the ability to iterate viewid values are sufficient; the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of confidential medical histories.
