HTTPS interception via disabled certificate validation
Published Feb 23, 2026 · Updated Feb 23, 2026
Improper certificate validation in YMFE yapi 1.12.0 and earlier allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read or alter HTTPS traffic. The httpRequestByNode function passes rejectUnauthorized false to a new HTTPS agent for every Axios request, accepting untrusted server certificates. Exploitation requires a network position between the YApi server and its HTTPS destination; it exposes or permits modification of data carried by those outbound requests.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
