Traffic interception and modification via disabled certificate validation
Published Feb 23, 2026 · Updated Feb 23, 2026
Improper certificate validation in jxcore jxm master allows man-in-the-middle attackers to read and alter HTTPS traffic. The HTTPS request path sets rejectUnauthorized to false whenever jx_obj.IsSecure is true, accepting certificates without authenticating the peer. Exploitation requires control of the network path to a jxm HTTPS peer and permits message interception or modification without interrupting service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
