Published Jan 13, 2026 · Updated Jan 13, 2026
SQL injection in PHPGurukul News Portal Project 4.1 allows remote attackers to access the database through a crafted username. The /admin/check_availablity.php handler inserts the POST username value directly into a quoted tbladmin SELECT without parameterization or escaping. The endpoint requires no authentication, and crafted Boolean conditions expose query results and permit access through the application's database account.
