Unauthenticated command execution via shell-interpreted kubectl input

Command injection in kubectl-mcp-server allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary OS commands through crafted MCP input. The run_kubectl_command() function builds a kubectl command from user input and passes the resulting string to subprocess.run() with shell=True, causing shell metacharacters to start additional commands. Published sources conflict on whether 1.2.0 is affected, so applicability for that release remains unresolved; successful commands run with the server process's operating-system privileges.
