Improper authentication in Atomberg Erica Smart Fan firmware 1.0.36 allows adjacent attackers to interrupt service via forged deauth frames. The firmware accepts forged Wi-Fi deauthentication management frames and lacks fallback or reconnection validation, causing the fan to lose network connectivity. Exploitation requires wireless proximity but no credentials or user interaction; the published assessment bounds the demonstrated consequence to availability and reliable operation.
