Memory disclosure and service interruption via unchecked ID
Published Mar 16, 2026 · Updated Mar 16, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in p2r3 Bareiron commit 8e4d40 allows remote attackers to disclose memory or interrupt service with a crafted packet. cs_interact passes an unvalidated client-supplied entity ID to interactEntity, which negates it into an out-of-bounds mob_data index and returns referenced coordinates. No authentication or user action is required; disclosure is limited to a five-byte read within binary memory bounds, while constrained memory corruption can interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
