CVE-2025-6973

Code execution via invalid JT object reuse

Published Jul 15, 2025 · Updated Jul 15, 2025

Use-after-free in the JT file reader in Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS eDrawings 2025 SP0 through SP2 allows attackers to execute code. The parser performs operations on a JT object without first validating that the object still exists, allowing freed memory to be reused during parsing. A target must open a specially crafted JT file or visit a malicious page, and successful exploitation runs code in the current process.
