Code execution via unvalidated object use
Published Jul 15, 2025 · Updated Jul 15, 2025
Use-after-free in the CATPRODUCT parser in Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS eDrawings 2025 allows attackers to execute code via a crafted file. The parser performs operations on an object without first validating that the object still exists, allowing freed memory to be reused during file processing. Exploitation requires a user to visit a malicious page or open the file, and resulting code runs in the current process context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
