Account takeover via reusable activation tokens
Published Mar 10, 2026 · Updated Mar 10, 2026
Incorrect access control in Deutsche Telekom AG Telekom Account Management Portal before 2025-10-27 allows remote attackers to take over accounts. The password-reset endpoint accepts previously issued or account-unbound activation tokens instead of enforcing single-use, account-bound validation. No authentication or user interaction is required, and a successful reset changes the targeted account's password and grants full account access.
