Reachable assertion in Open5GS AMF 2.7.0 through 2.7.5 allows local users to crash the process during asynchronous shutdown. The amf_state_operational handler dispatches a late SBI callback to an NF instance state machine after SIGTERM finalizes it and resets its state to zero. Exploitation requires local access to time process termination while an NRF registration or subscription response is pending, converting shutdown into an assertion-triggered abort.
