Authenticated command execution via Jinja2 template injection
Published Jan 29, 2026 · Updated Jan 29, 2026
Server-side template injection in Amidaware Tactical RMM 1.3.1 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands on the server. The reporting template preview passes the template_md value to Jinja2 Environment.from_string without sandboxing, causing attacker-supplied expressions to execute as Python code. Valid credentials with Report Viewer or Report Manager permission are required, and successful exploitation grants command execution on the Tactical RMM server.
