CVE-2025-69431

File disclosure and tampering via USB symlink

Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026

Incorrect symlink following in ZSPACE Q2C NAS firmware 1.1.0210050 and earlier allows physically proximate attackers to read and alter files. The firmware mounts an ext4 USB drive and exposes its directories through Samba without constraining a crafted root-directory symlink to the USB volume. Physical access to insert the prepared drive is required; following the link exposes the NAS file system for disclosure and tampering without reported service interruption.
