CVE-2025-69430

Physical file disclosure and tampering via USB symlink

Published Feb 3, 2026 · Updated Feb 3, 2026

Link following in Yottamaster DM2 and DM3 1.9.12 and earlier and DM200 1.2.23 and earlier allows physically proximate attackers to access files. The NAS mounts an attacker-prepared ext4 USB drive and exposes a link on that drive pointing to the NAS root without restricting link resolution to the mounted volume. Physical access to insert the drive is required; opening the mounted symlink grants read and write access to all NAS system files.
