Memory corruption via unchecked submit-url copy
Published Jul 1, 2025 · Updated Jul 1, 2025
Buffer overflow in the A702R HTTP POST handler in TOTOLINK firmware 4.0.0-B20230721.1521 allows remote authenticated users to corrupt memory. The /boafrm/formParentControl handler processes the submit-url argument without enforcing the destination buffer boundary. Successful exploitation corrupts process memory, but public sources do not establish whether this produces a crash or code execution.
