Unauthenticated cache purges via conditional token check
Published Jan 6, 2026 · Updated Jan 6, 2026
Missing authorization in Cloudways Breeze 2.2.21 and earlier allows remote attackers to purge a WordPress site's cache. The breeze_clear_cache method skips API-token validation when the breeze-secure-api option is disabled and accepts requests to the cache-purge REST endpoint. Exploitation requires the Breeze API to be enabled; repeated purges force page regeneration, increasing server load and interrupting service.
