Authenticated browser script execution via undisclosed DOM flaw
Published Jan 6, 2026 · Updated Jan 6, 2026
DOM-based XSS in CodexThemes TheGem Theme Elements (for WPBakery) 5.11.0 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run browser scripts. Public advisories do not identify the affected DOM source, sink, file, or function; they state only that page generation fails to neutralize input. Contributor-level access and an action by a privileged user are required, after which injected markup executes in the visitor's browser context.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
