Unauthenticated stored XSS via unescaped resume URL
Published Jan 22, 2026 · Updated Jan 22, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in HM Plugin JobWP 2.4.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to inject persistent scripts through resume uploads. The application workflow stores resume upload data without adequate sanitization, and the admin application view emits the resume URL without output escaping. No authentication is required, but an administrator must view the submitted application before the script runs in that browser context.
