Authenticated host command execution via NCM SERVICE
Published Jan 12, 2026 · Updated Jan 12, 2026
OS command injection in Broadcom DX NetOps Spectrum 23.3.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute host commands. The NCM SERVICE incorporates externally influenced values into an operating-system command without neutralizing command-control characters; Broadcom has not identified the affected function or input field. Low-privilege network access and no user interaction are required, and injected commands run with the vulnerable application's operating-system privileges on Windows or Linux hosts.
