Unauthenticated file read via unchecked attachment path
Published Jun 30, 2025 · Updated Jun 30, 2025
Path traversal in Dromara RuoYi-Vue-Plus 5.4.0 allows remote attackers to read server files through unauthenticated mail endpoints. The MailController endpoints convert the unvalidated filePath parameter directly into a File and pass it to MailUtils as an email attachment. No login is required, but outbound mail must be enabled; successful exploitation emails any readable server file to an attacker-chosen address.
