Stored browser script execution via post field
Published Mar 16, 2026 · Updated Mar 16, 2026
Stored XSS in Raytha before 1.4.6 allows remote authenticated users with post-editing permission to execute script in visitors' browsers. The post editor accepts FieldValues[1].Value as HTML and stores it for direct rendering on the edited page without neutralizing executable markup. Exploitation requires post-editing permission and a visitor to open the modified page, exposing that visitor's browser session to attacker-controlled HTML and JavaScript.
