CVE-2025-69233Network attack vector

Authenticated denial of service via resource-limit races

Published May 8, 2026 · Updated May 8, 2026

Resource-limit bypass in Apache CloudStack 4.0.0 through 4.22.0.0 allows remote authenticated users to cause service interruption. Concurrent resource-creation paths check an account or domain resource count and increment it non-atomically, while related validation gaps permit configured allocation ceilings to be exceeded. An authenticated platform account must issue overlapping allocation requests; excess consumption can degrade the managed infrastructure into denial-of-service conditions.
