CVE-2025-69197Network attack vector

Account access via replayed TOTP codes

Published Jan 6, 2026 · Updated Jan 6, 2026

Authentication bypass in Pterodactyl Panel before 1.12.0 allows remote authenticated users to access accounts by replaying a TOTP. The LoginCheckpointController passes each authentication_code to verifyKey without recording or comparing the accepted TOTP time step, leaving the code reusable. Exploitation requires a known username and password plus an intercepted valid TOTP within the approximately 60-second acceptance window and grants access as the targeted user.
