Stored XSS via unsanitized shortcode dimensions
Published Jan 8, 2026 · Updated Jan 8, 2026
Cross-site scripting in Noor Alam Easy Media Download 1.1.11 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run scripts in visitors' browsers. The download-button shortcode accepts width and height values without adequate sanitization and inserts them into generated button styling, allowing crafted values to escape the intended CSS context. Contributor-level access is required to save the shortcode in content, and the injected payload executes when another user visits that content.
